The Vases of Francis Palmer

The wonderful hand-thrown pottery of Francis Palmer has been a long time desire of mine. I love the shapes and styles of her vases and how she thinks about what kind of flower each vase might hold. And of course, I am always attracted to white as a backdrop to flowers. I think they are lovely.

Beautiful vases and I love the Dahlia's. They are such old fashioned flowers.

I love this post, What great containers and the dahlias look perfect in them.

Hi Patricia!
I love the dahlia's too. Ms. Farmer has a cutting garden right outside her studio so she can imagine the perfect flower for all of her creations. I just love that!

Lovely! Isn't the first one kinda sorta like ET? :-) very cute!

Love those vases! Like a more whimsical, softer take on some of Jonathan Adler's white vases. (Maybe, kinda sorta?)

You're right...white is perfect w/ the dahlias.
